China will step up efforts to eradicate  telecom fraud



近期中华人民共和国最高人民法院、最高人民检察院发布的“两高”工作报告传递出中国将以更大的力度和更强的决心打击电信诈骗犯罪活动，这将有效震慑违法犯罪分子，保障人民群众安居乐业、社会安定有序。
The recent work reports released by the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China convey that China will intensify its efforts and strengthen its resolve to combat telecommunications fraud crimes. This will effectively deter criminal activities, ensuring a peaceful living environment for the people and maintaining societal stability.
报告中指出，电诈犯罪让人民群众深恶痛绝，其手段多样翻新、隐蔽性迷惑性强，黑灰产业链环环相扣，成为治理难题。

According to the report, telecom fraud crimes are deeply loathed by the people. These crimes feature diverse and constantly evolving methods, high concealment and deception, and a tightly interlinked black and gray industrial chain, thus posing a formidable challenge to governance.  

??为铲除电诈“毒瘤”，中国将筑牢法治屏障，创新治理手段，凝聚各方合力，彻底斩断罪恶链条，切实保障人民生命财产安全。狠抓电话卡源头治理、强化公民个人信息保护、深化国际执法合作、用心做实反诈宣传。

To eradicate telecom frauds,  China will firmly improve legal protection, innovate governance measures, pool the joint efforts of all parties, completely cut off the criminal chain, and effectively safeguard the people's lives and property, including focusing on the source governance of phone cards, strengthening the protection of citizens' personal information, deepening international law enforcement cooperation, and earnestly increasing anti-fraud publicity.
